The event takes place at the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. 4 years younger, Verhoeven has won 10 of his last 11 including five straight defenses of his title inside the GLORY ring. After winning the title from Daniel Ghita at GLORY 17 Verhoeven has gone on to defeat Errol Zimmerman, Benjamin Adegbuyi on two occasions, Mladen Bretovac, and Anderson “Braddock” Silva.
