Vitor Belfort vs Kelvin Gastelum rumored for March 11th UFC Brazil event. After his recent victory at Middleweight it would appear that The Ultimate Fighter 17 Winner has finally found a home at a weight class after being forced to move up from Welterweight after multiple failed attempts to make official weight. At Middleweight Gastelum is making a quick impact on the division. The 39 year old Belfort will be entering his 39th professional MMA bout and looking to end a two-fight losing streak featuring a pair of TKO losses to Gegard Mousasi and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza. Belfort’s last win inside the UFC Octagon came over a year ago in November of 2015 when he knocked out Dan Henderson for the second time. Multiple reports cited Belfort retiring after the Mousasi loss, but in October “The Phenom”made it clear that he wanted to continue his career. No other bouts have been rumored or reported for the March 11th UFC event in Fortaleza, Brazil. It is also unclear but can be speculated that Gastelum vs. Belfort will be the main event.
